Our Preschool
Miss Parker's Preschool is a purpose-built 50-place Long Day Care Preschool designed exclusively for children aged 3 to 5 years. Unlike centres that cater for babies through to preschoolers, every learning space and experience has been thoughtfully created specifically for preschool-aged children. Helping them build confidence, independence and school readiness.
Our Environment
Everything at Miss Parker's Preschool has been carefully curated to support preschool learning, development and wellbeing. Our indoor and outdoor environments encourage exploration, creativity, independence and social connection while providing children with opportunities to rest, relax, learn and grow throughout the day.
Our Hours of Care
Miss Parker's Preschool operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, 50 weeks of the year. As a Long Day Care service, we provide flexible care arrangements to support working and studying families. Children may arrive and depart at times that suit their family's individual needs and care arrangements.
Miss Parker’s Preschool acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our preschool is located and operated.
We recognise their ongoing connection to Country, culture and community and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. We extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

At Miss Parker's Preschool, we are committed to providing exceptional early childhood education and care in a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and inspired to learn.
Our educational program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and has been thoughtfully developed by Miss Parker, who holds a Bachelor of Primary and Early Childhood Education and brings more than 10 years of experience as both a primary school teacher and Assistant Principal.
Having spent over a decade supporting children as they transition into primary school, Miss Parker understands what helps children thrive, not just during their preschool years, but as they move into Kindergarten and beyond. That experience shapes every part of our program and helps children build the confidence, independence and learning habits they need for a successful start to school.
Many centres promote a school readiness program. We believe the real difference is how those skills are developed every day. Literacy, numeracy, communication, resilience, problem solving and independence are not taught in isolation. They are naturally incorporated into children's daily experiences through purposeful play, meaningful relationships and carefully planned learning opportunities. Every child is supported to learn at their own pace while being encouraged to challenge themselves and grow.
We believe every child is capable, unique and full of potential. We value each child's voice, culture and identity and work closely with families to build genuine partnerships that support every child's individual learning journey.
Our educators are reflective professionals who create engaging learning environments where children feel secure, confident and valued. Through meaningful experiences and positive relationships, children develop curiosity, resilience, independence and a lifelong love of learning.
