Early Learning Foundation
Early Literacy and Numeracy Children build early literacy skills through letter and sound recognition, rhyming, storytelling and songs. Numeracy develops naturally through counting, sorting, patterns and practical mathematical language such as more, less, big and small. Social and Emotional Development Group games, cooperative play and role-playing strengthen sharing, turn-taking and problem-solving. Daily discussions and circle time help children express their feelings, build confidence and respect different perspectives. Physical Development Art, writing, construction and building experiences strengthen fine motor skills. Outdoor play, climbing, running and coordinated games develop strength, balance and gross motor coordination.
